PicPilot Flight Controller
A Redesign of the flight controller used in UWARG's Aircrafts
This project was done for the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG). The team was using a flight controller with two PIC33F micrcontrollers for controlling attitude and path managing. After some parts had gone obsolete and new features and peripherals were needed, a redesign was necessary. I designed the PCB in Eagle CAD on two layers and was able to reduce the overall size while adding the extra features. The ground pours are hidden in the above picture to highlight the design on both layers.
